The unreliable narrator
The artistic dialogue between Ulrich Vogl and Hanne Tyrmi began when they first met as artists in residence at the Cité des arts international in Paris. Since then, they have had a constant exchange of ideas and experiences, spending several periods together in Oslo and Berlin. As an outcome we present the joint exhibition “The Unreliable Narrator”.
Divided into four distinct chapters, each filling its own space “The Unreliable Narrator” defies certainty and embraces ambiguity, inviting visitors to question both narrative and perception.
The title itself suggests the exploration of the complexities inherent in storytelling. Although each room seems to have a specific theme, nothing is certain or absolute, reflecting the essence of an unreliable narrator.
